Sun Monitors for Startups

Freshness Warning
This blog post is over 17 years old. It's possible that the information you read below isn't current and the links no longer work.

Someone at Sun emailed me to say they’ve heard my lament about monitors not being available separately under their Startup Essentials pricing.

You can now buy monitors without buying a desktop, although the procedure isn’t quite obvious.

To buy a monitor, log into your Sun store account and go to the Startup catalog. Go to the desktops and select a monitor add-on but don’t select the desktop. Add that to your cart and you should see the discounted monitor sitting there. They don’t have the 24" monitors available yet, but I’m told they’ll be there in January.
