Searching online phonebooks for a business in a metropolitan area comprised of lots of towns can be difficult. Especially when the lines between those towns are hard to distinguish. Switchboard has a nice solution for this. I was looking for a business in Roseville that was actually located in nearby Rocklin, Switchboard told me "We were unable to find matches for businesses in Roseville, CA. However, we found matches for businesses in the surrounding area" and displayed the address and phone number I was looking for.
