The Tagyu web services API has a new feature. In addition to getting tags for your text, the API now gives you a recommended category as well. The possible categories are currently: Technology, Politics, Sports, Arts & Leisure, and Business & Finance. There will be more categories appearing in the near future as Tagyu’s categorizer gets properly trained.

The categories you should expect soon are Automotive, Comics & Humor, Games, Health & Fitness, Home & Garden, and Travel.

The categorizer API is available immediately. The Tagyu API documentation explains how to use it.
