This is the blog of Adam Kalsey. Unusual depth and complexity. Rich, full body with a hint of nutty earthiness.

Rob Flickenger describes a way to add a wireless access point to any location that has a lightbulb, thanks to Siemens powerline ethernet to wireless bridge. I’d improve on the idea by using a converter that lets you add an outlet to any lamp socket, but it’s a clever idea nevertheless.
You can build your own version of this for under $120. The socket converter is under $3 at most hardeware stores, the powerline ethernet adapter is $50 at CompUSA, and the powerline wireless access point is $60 at CompUSA.

I saw this at ETcon '03; it was an awesome little unit. I asked him if it was a free sample, in fact :)
