Inter-dimensional spam

I got this spam today. These people need help. Maybe you can provide it.

Greetings,

We need a vendor who can offer immediate supply.
I’m offering $5,000 US dollars just for referring a vender which is (Actually RELIABLE in providing the below equipment) Contact details of vendor required, including name and phone #. If they turn out to be reliable in supplying the below equipment I’ll immediately pay you $5,000. We prefer to work with vendor in the Boston/New York area.

1. The mind warper generation 4 Dimensional Warp Generator # 52 4350a series wrist watch with z80 or better memory adapter. If in stock the AMD Dimensional Warp Generator module containing the GRC79 induction motor, two I80200 warp stabilizers, 256GB of SRAM, and two Analog Devices isolinear modules, This unit also has a menu driven GUI accessible on the front panel XID display. All in 1 units would be great if reliable models are available

2. The special 23200 or Acme 5X24 series time transducing capacitor with built in temporal displacement. Needed with complete jumper/auxiliary system

3. A reliable crystal Ionizor with unlimited memory backup.

4. I will also pay for Schematics, layouts, and designs directly
from the manufature which can be used to build this equipment
from readily available parts.

If your vendor turns out to be reliable, I owe you $5,000.

I didn’t mention, this is not the first time there’s been a bit of strange spam floating about.

Mena Trott, Cam Barrett and others have previously received spam looking for someone with experience and equipment for time travel.

http://www.dollarshort.org/archives/000580.shtml http://www.camworld.com/misc/spam/time_traveler.txt http://www.google.com/search?q=time%20traveler%20spam

Some of the wording in this spam indicates that it might be the same person sending this spam. I can’t decide if the sender is a nutcase or simly perpetrating a hoax.

My spam was also received by others…

Ok- kind of in the flavor of a miracle ponzi- scheme e-mail. As the author is writing from Speigle.de - germany’s answer to aol-time-warner.com… allow a little for linguistic shift.

  1. The mind warper generation 4 Dimensional Warp Generator # 52 4350a series wrist watch with z80 or better memory adapter. The z80 was a main processor chip manufactured by Zilog back in the 80’s- think of it as the ancestor of the Apple 68020 or the pentium. If in stock the AMD Dimensional Warp Generator module containing the GRC79 induction AMD is another chip manufacturer- main competitor is Intel. Dimensional warp generator- kinda star trek funny.

I immediately forwarded mine to all the people I know and love who build sapce ships in backyards and basements. I once knew a guy who thought he was from the planet Argon. He made masks of the inhabitants and detailed schematics of the spacecraft in order to convince the rest of us. He thought his psycologist had ended their therapy, but kept appointments with him because he was so “fascinating.”

I don’t see what the big problem is here. Everybody knows that amazon.galaxy sells this stuff (or at least will start trading in about 40 years). In the meantime, there is a limited catalogue of stuff available that’s considered safe for use by races for whom this science is in its infancy (ie the people of earth - at this present time) to help them get a foothold on the basic technology. If anyone wants a current catalogue, mail me at icdcomponents@hotmail.com and i’ll forward you the catalogue by return.
