When a programmer found a security hole in Guess’s Web site that allowed him to retreive customer information including credit card numbers, he had trouble letting the company know. After bounced emails and unreturned phone calls, he finally had a magazine contact them with the info.

Great article! Amazing. I'm just glad they didn't go the normal corporate route and sue the kid for hackking or something. I think in a lot of cases, white hacking is good. Great idea to have a security@ web address for this very reason. And a standard response rate. Maybe the movement should be to not only have a privacy policy, but a security policy. It would make consumers feel better.
