Clever comment on Valleywag’s story that Yahoo’s skunkworks projects are being turned over to management to develop.

Executives think they can somehow take a bunch of ideas, look over them, and somehow spot the winners. That’s totally wrong. If any human being could do that, venture capital would be a zero-risk investment.
