Hosted Movable Type

Scott Johnson once remarked to me that Movable Type needs to be easier to install. The process of uploading via FTP, changing config files, adding Perl modules, and setting permissions can be daunting to many people. Now it looks like non-techies can use Movable Type’s power on TypePad, a hosted product a la Blogger. Now you know why the MT license agreement prohibits you from offering Movable Type as a shared, hosted system.
