We've built Web sites, provided technical, business, and project consulting, and created easy-to-use Web applications. Want to know how we can help you? Just ask.
Here's a selection of some of our recent work.
This site was donated to Cub Scout Pack 281 to give the Cub Scouts an easy way to share information with the rest of the Pack. Using Movable Type as a content management system, the site features a photo gallery, event calendar, a library of forms and documents for leaders, and a mini-site for each Den. An email newsletter is automatically sent out bi-weekly with the latest content from the CMS and upcoming calendar events. View site...
CalGrants.org is a California state government site that helps high school seniors get free money for college. Built in conjunction with THOMAS |ferrous and Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn, the site features a design focused on accessibility for disabled students and is easily viewed with a variety of devices, including PDAs, mobile phones, and text-only browsers. Since many pages are intended for printing by the students, a printer-friendly page is automatically created when any page is printed. View site...
Zempt is a desktop tool for the Movable Type content management system. The Web site needed to entice people to download the software, provide technical support, and keep users of the software informed. The software developers are scattered around the world, so a project site allows them to share ideas, publish links, and ask questions. The site's managed with Movable Type, of course. View site...
Minimal Verbosity is the weblog of software developer Bill Zeller. Mr. Zeller uses his blog to discuss software development, open source, and talk about the life of an independent software developer. He wanted a site that was fast-loading, visually striking, and flexible enough to be used for everything from a blog to a gallery showcasing his photography. View site...
Working with Jel Productions, we helped the California Lottery create a cheaper, faster way to distribute winning Lottery numbers to newspapers, television stations, and other media outlets. Instead of receiving faxed reports from the Lottery, media outlets can now use a Web services interface to get winning numbers for all of the Lottery games, find out who won the jackpot, and how much the next jackpot is worth. In addition to the Web services project, we also performed site maintenance, upgraded their email list server, and created a comprehensive site testing and release procedure.

The Sacramento Alphagraphics office needed an easier way to manage the orders from one of their largest printing customers. Working with Sacramento Internet, we created a customized ecommerce system that allows their customer to order materials for their training classes. Simply pick the class and choose the number of students and Alphagraphics receives pick lists, box labels, and purchase orders for the needed materials. This site is a password-protected extranet.
