A few years ago I posted a big list of pumpkin carving patterns, but now most of those links are dead. For those few thousand people that wander this way through search engines around Halloween, here’s a list of some decent pattern sites…

  • Pumpkin Masters - The makers of the books you see in all the srotes this time of year. Like always, they have a few free patterns you can download. The Pirate looks interesting. This year, you have to fill out a marketing survey to access each pattern. Boo!
  • Spookmaster has free and for purchase patterns online
  • Halloween Magazine carries a number of Hallowween-related downloads including some software to create your own patterns.
  • Family Management publishes a few patterns free for the taking plus an ebook that you can get for free if you give them your address.
  • Me On A Pumpkin is software that will turn most pictures into a carving pattern
  • Pumpkin Carving 101 is a good place for the novice carver to start. They’ve got some tips that will get you up to speed quickly.

Thanks Adam! I’ve been looking for a centralized pumpkin-pattern repository. Good luck with Tagyu!
