Hey, Dave, the marketers care. People that are trying to build a business around RSS care. Someone trying to sell RSS services to businesses cares.
The first question that gets asked of any of those groups of people is “how big’s the addressable market?” There’s been lots of surveys that have found RSS awareness and penetration at around 4-6% of the US population. That’s a great number, but if you can then point to the fact that another 30% are using RSS and not even knowing it, that’s huge.
