Zen development

Bill Zeller explains the idea behind iterative programming and the release early release often mentality with a short zen parable.

Waiting until code is perfect to release it just means you’ll always have unreleased projects. Releasing when it works but isn’t complete will let people give you feedback and improve the tool.
